The Green Bay Packers come into week 10 of the 2025 season at the top of the NFC North. However, they’re also coming in on the heels of another close loss, this time a 16-13 defeat to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. It was another tough game for Green Bay, who lost on a game-winning 49 yard field goal into the swirling wind from Panthers rookie kicker Ryan Fitzgerald. Panthers running back Rico Dowdle had a big game, with 130 yards and two touchdowns, as the Packers’ defense lost the battle at the line of scrimmage to give him plenty of room to break into the secondary. That was only part of the problem, though.

The Packers’ lone touchdown came from a Josh Jacobs run through the goal line in the fourth quarter, which is an indicator of a larger problem in Green Bay. Jordan Love currently ranks in the top 10 in many of the major categories for quarterbacks, but is currently 14th in the league when it comes to passing touchdowns. While he’s averaging his highest completion percentage of his career this year, and is already on pace to throw for more yards than ever before, he and the Packers offense aren’t connecting when it comes to finding the end zone. Green Bay are in the middle of the pack in the league in terms of red zone offense, and that has proved to be a difference maker so far this year. Add in a likely season-ending injury to breakout tight end Tucker Kraft, and things are looking just a little bit bleak right now for the NFC North leaders.

It’s time to regroup, though, as the reigning Super Bowl champions make their way to Lambeau Field for a blockbuster Monday Night Football game.

The Big Story

The Eagles come into Week 10 fresh from their bye week, and it was a much needed one for the reigning champions. While things are clicking for Philadelphia, they beat the New York Giants in Week 8 without star wide receiver AJ Brown, who was out with a hamstring injury. Running back Saquon Barkley busted out for 150 yards, but injured a groin muscle in the win. Both are expected to return on Monday night after having the time off.

At 6-2, the Eagles are currently sitting atop the NFC East, making this a battle of division leaders and potentially two playoff teams. However, given the Packers’ recent shakiness, as well as the injury to Tucker Kraft, Monday night’s game will feature two teams in two very different places. If Green Bay doesn’t get off to a strong start, it could make for a very long night on national television.

Where to watch the Packers vs. Eagles

Monday night’s game kicks off at 7:15 p.m. Central. You can watch it on ABC and ESPN, as well as the ESPN app. Of course, you can also belly up at any of Milwaukee’s many sports bars to watch the game, and if you’re out of town, you’re in luck; there’s a Packers bar in every state (and beyond.)

Elsewhere in the NFC North

The Detroit Lions were stunned by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but they’ll get a chance to rebound on Sunday afternoon as they take on the Washington Commanders on the road. Detroit are 2-2 on the road, and Washington is only 2-2 at home, so something’s gotta give there. The Chicago Bears have won five of their last six after an absolutely bonkers final minute of football on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, and they’ll return to Soldier Field to take on the struggling New York Giants. The Vikings, on the heels of their win in Detroit, will return home to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the noon slate of games on Sunday, with both teams still figuring things out midway through the season.

Monday night could be a make or break game for the Packers’ season, so let’s hope for a big win. Go Pack Go!
