While some Milwaukee beer drinkers never really got over the sale of Schlitz Brewing to Stroh's in 1982, fans of Brew City's beer history actually owe the Detroit-based Stroh family a debt of gratitude for not only saving the Schlitz archives but for helping to get them back where they belong.
